Brilliant - as ever
I have been with Roger and his music since he started and seen his talent develop through thich and thin. I've attended 10 live concerts - first one when Sid was with Pink Floyd and then through all the termoils and heartbreaks, to his solo career and now to this latest. It's hard to add to all the comments and acalades he has has - so I'll keep it simple - Excellent - and hope he keeps on entertaining us.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not so great Roger....
I must say starting out that Amused to Death is one of my favourite recordings of all time...without a doubt.... But unfortunately this album isn't comparable to that even though it seems to try. The same old Roger acid lyrics are there, the Floyd acoustic chord progressions and overall vibe lurks on tracks....but no...something is missing and it doesn't quite work... While there are a few jem's of lines, the vocals are often overwhelmed by the instrument tracks and its hard to hear what he's saying.... I desperately want to love this...but unfortunately I cant...Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice to have a CD of this album and playing this it in the car sent me back years until I heard Tr...p . Great music , lyrics and fresh production techniques make it a must buy for all Waters/ Pink Floyd fans. Worth your time, in my opinion
I recently bought The Wall again and hadn’t realised what a deep impression it had made on me growing up. Read that Nigel Godrich had produced this. Some lovely subtle songs, respectfully produced. Roger at his best. This is one of his best albums. At first I wasn't sure as I was comparing it to all his other works,but after listening to it a few times I realised the genius of the material.
