based on a true story of redemption
a man (Ray Milland) who can listen to the tumblers fall in place is hired to crack a safe with money and jewels and gets caught and convicted and sentenced to 10 in prison. after just two years and in the middle of WWII gets an offer he can't refuse just to get out of prison. The British army will free him from prison if he will break into the super secure safe of the German high command and steel certain documents.
