An amazing game on the Switch, and in general!
I'm relatively new to The Elder Scrolls, but as an owner of a Nintendo Switch I knew the Skyrim port was a must-buy. Prior, I had played a bit of Morrowind on Xbox One and Oblivion on PC, enjoying both of them. Skyrim is above both in terms of graphics, which should come as no surprise. For a game released in 2011, it still looks fantastic on the Switch and runs perfectly. It looks best in handheld mode, which is how I've been playing it mostly. The story, while not as compelling to me as Oblivion's, is still interesting and engaging- but not required to enjoy the game. The side quests and exploration can keep you hooked for hours and hours. Personally, I love exploring the beautiful open-world, fighting enemies and discovering new locations. The fact that you can now take this massive world with you is absolutely amazing. I'd recommend this port of Skyrim to anyone who either has never played the game, or to those who want to experience it in a whole new way. Skyrim rules on Switch!
The game Skryrim I have on other systems, but I wanted to play anywhere. Looked at E-Bay, and found Skyrim for the Switch with it's original case. Skyrim digitally cost the same as it cost when it first came out 6 years ago. I bought this game for about $40 bucks. Great look and easy application
When I first received this product I thought, "this better not be hard to put on", but that was not the case. If you follow the directions included in the packet, it should turn out just fine. I actually applied this in a steamy bathroom (minimizes dust particles in the air) which definitely helped me. The looks are great. I love how you can detach the joy-cons and place them on the joy-con grip and have an amazing picture to look at during loading screens! There's so much detail you can see multiple draugr dungeons and even Whiterun! I got this product a day before it was supposed to arrive so the shipping is fine. Skyrim plays quite well on the Nintendo Switch
I have played Skyrim originally on the Xbox 360, later on the Xbox One and now on the Nintendo Switch. Of the 3 the X1 version probably looks the best but it's the more powerful system. The ability to apply mods also enhances the X1 edition. That being said the Switch version is no slouch. I only play the Switch in handheld mode so my feedback is centered around that method of play. Overall I am very impressed. The sound is spot on to what I remember of the 360 and X1 versions and the graphics are top notch. They appear to be better than the 360 but not quite X1 caliber. If you have never played Skyrim this is a good way to experience the game and all of its DLC.
