A popular machine for good reason.
I can see why this is one of the most popular espresso machines (if not the most popular). Bought to replace a failed Swan Retro (also not a bad machine considering its price), the Dedica is on another level. For sure probably not quite the Gaggia Classic, but once I put a bottomless portafilter on it, it was made even better (there are loads available on eBay). There are plenty of videos out there for using and modding this machine, so there’s little excuse for making making a bad coffee. It’s even pretty ok using ESE pods too. Be aware though that this type of machine does involve some effort, compared to a pod machine, or even a filter machine. But with some effort put into learning how it works, you will get a much better cup of coffee. The Dedica is easy to operate though, and has some nice extra features that the cheaper machines don’t have (such as adjustable temperature, and adjustable automated brew time). I would also be happy to recommend the refurbished option available on eBay, it came looking like new, with all accessories included, and a proper warranty. I don't like this product at all. The first come different than the pictures are showing. ( with so many scratches and some dent) After few coffees is asking for descaling. The filter holder has one,tinny hole. if is not clean properly coffee will do not come. I hate this coffee maker.

Great, compact coffee machine.
This is our first coffee machine, and bought it refurbished through eBay. Though it was a bit stiff to use initially, as others commented in their reviews, it soon eased up. It has the option to use pods, which we've not tried, we've just used the single and double espresso maker and milk foamer. It is simple to use and makes lovely coffee. Return to the dark side !
I’ve had many coffee machines over the years, and I even ended up with a very good Sage Nespresso machine. But I have returned to the dark side, and a real Italian coffee machine which simply delivers excellent coffee from either ground coffee or ese pods. I didn’t realise how much I missed REAL espresso coffee until I had my first cup from this machine ! It is compact, easy to use and the hot milk/cappuccino frother is great too ! Superb in every possible way.

Easy to use and makes delicious Coffee
After reading lots of reviews and finally choosing this machine, I am so pleased I did. Some reviews said it can be a bit fiddly and takes a while to get things right. I bought Aldi ground coffee and made my first Cappucino which was not at all difficult and tasted delicious. The machine is also easy to clean too.
