    A nostalgic purchase

    Good detail and runs well. Like other recent Hornby products much more realistic than the ones I knew as a boy 70 years ago. The engine - City of Salford - is of special significance as I was born and bred in that city and my father was a member of the city council that welcomed the engine on its first trip to the north in 1948? For all these reasons a nostalgic and interesting purchase.
