This coarse sea salt with naturally occurring iodine is the real deal.
I had no idea there was a difference from the sea salt from the sea and the sea salt in the stores. Big difference in the crystallization. Natural, unrefined sea salt has the proper crystal shape that is nature aligned, and it has not been chopped up and run through and added to, like the sea salt in the stores. Coarse IODIZED salt
Almost impossible to find elsewhere. Coarse salt does not measure like table salt in recipes and kosher salt is not iodized. If you want or need iodized salt for use in you recipes that specify kosher (just about all these days), this fits the bill nicely. Not for brining, koshering, pickling, etc as it could leave an off-taste. Grains are actually a little bigger than kosher salt, sort of like fine rock salt.
