Effective Solution to Keeping HIFI Turntable Stylus Clean
Found this Dustmagnet to be a most effective solution to the critical HiFi task of keeping your turntable's stylus clean. Brushes are fine to remove the obvious dust bunnies, but some residue invariably remain. This is where further cleaners come in. This is a polymer based cleaning tool, and on initial use appears very effective in removing the finest dust particles - as evidence both through examining the cleaned stylus through a magnifier and more importantly by my ears. A fairly small profile, but this is convenient on my Dual CS5000 with Goldring G1042, as the arm doesn't drop until correct speed is reached - the tub is small enough to carefully hold adjacent spinning platter to allow easy cleaning. I like the fact you can refresh (i.e. clean captured dust etc. off) by rinsing in plain water (will use distilled). Overall very happy with this purchase.

Great bit of kit
Somewhat sceptical about buying this due to the fairly high price that these gel type cleaners command but it really does the job and is very east to use. Supplied very quickly with excellent supporting documentation and details of other products that might appeal. NOT THE CHEAPEST BUT DEFINITELY ONE OF THE BEST
not the cheapest on the market but definitely one of the best for the money, after years of carefully using a brush to clean my styluses, and then finding after inspecting with a magnifier they were not as clean as i would have liked. I tried the dust magnet and after using it twice my stylus is as clean as new again, fantastic results, do not compare it to the cheaper ones for sale that use a sponge pad to clean your stylus the dust magnet uses a polymer gel that lifts the dirt and dust of your stylus without damage. well worth the money

Amazing results, I had been using a branded stylus brush but frustratingly I could always see small amounts of debris/ dust on the stylus. I never expected it to be so effective at removing the dust etc. I would definitely recommend purchasing and would buy again.
