Top of the range Product
Top of the range product for pure diehard HD enthusiasts. Any emission that has been filmed in 4K or higher is clearly visible even in 1920x1080 resolution. Since all my electronic goods are from the Sony stable this KD49 was a natural replacement for my tired 40" Bravia. I use this TV in a large lounge for viewing normal TV programmes delivered by SKY. The two complement each other seamlessly. I edit a lot in HD XAVC which I can drop down to MP4 and Blu-ray. The final product is breathtakingly beautifully crisp, sharp and clear. I would not change my choice for a mountain of gold, its taken me years to arrive at this simply precious solution for clear non eye fatiguing HD. The depth of colour is superb and the TV is provided with a reasonable audio output, even for a fairly large room with hard floors. As ever (other than OLED / QLED sets), Sony TV picture quality is second to none! (Triluminous display and X-reality pay dividends.)
