Clean. Strum Bar Doesn't Fully Work
Pros: Very clean, fret buttons work flawlessly, whammy bar sturdy and working, WiiMote connection working, Start and Select (Star Power) buttons firm and working properly, and the strap is in great condition.
Cons: With nothing done out of the box besides attaching the fret board, plugging in the WiiMote, and starting to play, the down strum was barely functional. Less than about 5% of down strumming resulted in an actual trigger that the down strum was being performed. Up strum worked fine, until it didn't. It's at about a 98% consistency right now. Enough to play and have it working, but not enough to really enjoy it.
I bought this to use with Clone Hero on the PC, and I should have done a bit more research beforehand. The Guitar Hero: World Tour guitars (these ones) are notorious for having the strum bar break or become inconsistent with regular use, let alone heavy playing on Expert. They use a different type of micro-switch to register the strumming that isn't sturdy at all.
I'll likely be finding a new guitar to use; online forums suggest the Les Paul variant of the Wii Guitar as the best performing version. Sad to have basically wasted $47.
