Issues with blowing fuses, it blew fuses in a truck even though Put recommend fuse in vehicle.

Smoking!!
Bought this kettle as it was big enough for 2 cups however blew the fuse on the first day in the lorry. Fuse changed and retried, this time smoke expelled from the cigarette socket. Have now returned the kettle. On researching this appears to happen very often

Good product, but beware 12volts kettles are SLOW!
If you have no alternative to a 12v kettle this is a great choice, it is a kettle, it works, looks well made, so nothing adverse about it. But like all 12v kettles it takes a long time,e.g. 30 minutes, to boil a full kettle.

TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY
I WOULD NOR RECOMMEND THIS TRAVEL KETTLE, I BOUGHT IT FOR MY MOTOR HOME, I RAN THE ENGINE WHICH POWERS THE MAIN BATTERY AND THE LINK TO THE LEISURE BATTERY, ANYWAYS AFTER THE TIME OF 32 MINUTES I GAVE UP AS IT WAS NO WERE NEAR BOILED.
