Technically excellent improvement of video and audio.
TNG was a very good series that I followed closely when it originally aired. I find rewatching it an enjoyable experience, and taking note of character development is especially fun. The technical improvement of video and audio are very good. Don’t expect it to rival today’s new productions that are able to utilize improved computer generated graphics though. The surround sound mix is an improvement, but is not important or particularly effective. Dialogue and special sound effects are clean and clear. Do not be surprised that each episode’s video content is in 4:3 format. Otherwise the focus is clear and colors are good. It’s just as clear as today’s modern HD video. The box and disc folios are attractive and adequate to contain everything. This set is worth the price, and technically precise enough to enhance the viewing experience. The storylines and character evolutions were always a TNG strength and can be viewed in wonderful clarity on your modern system, no matter how advanced. TNG is a worthy use of your viewing dollar and time. I recommend this set for old fans, and those searching for something good to watch!

Quality Blu Ray presentation of STTNG with very good packaging.
After reading several critical reviews of the newest release of the complete series of STTNG (especially those regarding the poor packaging and difficult holding system) I chose to purchase this earlier version. The physical package is sturdy and the clips work well without needing much force to remove. As for the content, the very long intros and CBS promotional screens are way too long but can't be bypassed. The menu system is very good and easy to select. The visual quality is outstanding; I'm impressed with the CGI updates to planets and spacecraft. As of this writing, we are only through the first season but are very pleased with the purchase.

Beautifully Re-Mastered Edition
As a fan of the Next Generation series, I was looking for a GOOD quality media collection in place of the broadcast and streaming (e.g. CBS AllAccess) venues that I'd seen which were generally poor quality. Even with my new LG OLED TV, the video and audio quality was poor. This re-mastered blu-ray series...in a word STUNNING in visual and audio quality! Very, very well-done! The cased set is decent quality and holds the individual discs securely, and they're easy to locate and keep in ordered. VERY happy customer.

I have only just started watching the episodes in season 1. However, the picture quality is great! The colors are more vibrant and small details that weren't obvious in the original are now visible and clear. This is my favorite Star Trek series and it's like watching the episodes for the first time!

Star Trek TNG bluray is full of it.
Liked watching the franchise on T.V. when they aired , just had to get. Wanted on bluray, very surprised with the amount of bonus features (there is alot) interviews, making of all seasons, cast picks, behind the scenes stuff. Excellent find.

The Blu-ray Set of ST-TNG to have!
We purchased the complete series on DVD a decade ago and had to return it because it was so poorly packaged.....every other disc had some defect...this set meant for the UK will play in any region and appears to be perfect. A great set at a great price!

Love STNG - Be aware of the DRM
I didn't realize that this product is encrypted (DRM) and requires a Blueray player proper. NOT a big deal, just be aware of this fact, if you have a PC-based media center. Otherwise, I love STNG.

One of the Two best Star Treks along with the original. Voyager I would rate as 3rd best. The picture quality is good value but is not a wide screen picture. Delivered in timely manner and physical condition was good
