Mortar/Boilie Gun
This is a great bit of kit for making boilie's for carp fishing and also for doing re-pointing of walls ect. The extra nozzles are very handy for producing the bait sausages to the correct size prior to rolling on the bait rolling table as they can be cut easily with a craft knife. It has a strong handle mechanism, and it is easily cleaned after use. I do recommend this bit of kit. The only down side is that I could do with more heavy duty round ended screw in nozzles to trim to trim to different sizes. Labour saving to apply mortar
This gun is ideal for saving time and effort for applying mortar. In saying that it my experience was that it cannot be used with a mix that contains sharp sand as the spout is not big enough and the pressure from the gun causes the moisture to come out and leave the mix too dry inside. Excellent product
After reading a few reviews on the Roughneck mortar gun, I wasn't totally convinced it would be any good. Having absolutely no pointing experience I found the mortar gun easy to use and quicker than if I hadn't used it. Roughneck mortar gun.
This mortar gun/silicone cartridge gun has a really big “WOW!” factor. The build quality is far beyond what you normal get in your normal DIY shop. The main tube body is made from strong aluminium and all others parts from steel of high grade. With a powder coating finish. There are several interchangeable dispensing heads and plungers ends. The main body can be directly filled with cement or other substances. Normal tube cartridges can also be fitted inside. Depending on how you use it the plunger head is changed to suit. I have not used this yet but can tell it’s a piece of quality kit. If using it to dispense cement it recommends using a plasticiser to aid the squeezing of the cement - tip - washing up liquid does the same thing! Making its slimy and easy to squeeze out. Excellent tool and it is British

You would be better using a piping bag, even with a very wet mix the moisture comes out and leaves a solid block in the tube, complete waste of money, I tried every combination with no success, I'm a builder with 40 years experience so you could say I know what I'm doing, this item is truly a waste of money and doesn't work as advertised.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
