Quality product. Complex use.
The packaging tells you that it is easy to use. However, the amount of attachments and combinations is daunting. There's also the issue of how much pressure during use. I am quite reserved and don't know if I should go crazy and trust the product won't make me bald. This product works great. Quick charging and nice hefty feel,without feeling cumbersome when holding in hand. Trims well and maintains the charge. The 3 star rating is because Philips should offer up a storage idea for all the components,plus trimmer. It would demonstrate their ability and care to go the extra distance for their customers. They do not offer anything to help with storage and that is a total shame.It would cost them pennies on the dollar to offer up a solution for storage and demonstrates a total disdain of forward thinking for their customers comfort. Good value and easy to use
I would give 4.5 star but there is no such rating. I like this one a lot, but I don't have any other clipper so I can't really compare. It has all the functions I want, mainly for cutting my and my son's hair. The only downside for me is that it can be a bit slow when cutting thick hair. Best of the best
This trimmer has everything you could dream of. My previous Babyliss and Braun used to have both pro's and cons, but would never come close to this one. First off is its design - absolutely masculine, all metall, heavy. Second, the battery is Li-ion and last forever, and even if it goes low you can plug it in and continue. When my braun suddenly went of (happened couple of times) I had to stand half shaved in front of my mirror and just wait for 15-20 minutes so it would charge enough to continue. It wouldn't work and charge simultaneously! Third, it is waterproof. So you just rinse it off and it is done. And obviously you can use it in shower. Fourth, it gets the job done perfectly and fast! Lots of accessories and a travel pouch. I actually use only three of them: the trimmer, the shaver and the one for nosal hair. For those of you who had to become your own barbers, or become barbers to your children, the MG 7750/49 is a great tool. It's got an excellent assortment of cutting guides for all lengths of hair, and has attachments for nose/ear hair and some body hair trimming as well. I was really pleased with how effortlessly it cut my boys' hair. I was able to do even length cuts as well as fades with no trouble. It's well balanced and feels good in the hand while you work.
