I am really pleased with these radios, very easy to programme, nice to hold, very clear signal, and the battery seems to have a good stand-by time. Also they look very cool. I wasn't sure if I'd like the screen, as opposed to a digital read-out, but I quickly got used to it. I haven't tried the range yet, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be rather decent. Compact and weather proof. Range is limited in built up area but then that is to be expected with a 0.5w radio. In open countryside with the odd forestry block, the range and clarity is pretty good.
