Generally very good seats but beware putting too much weight on the seat covers.
Bought two new seats to replace seats I bought just over a year ago. Had to buy RAK to suit the square toilet shape, they are generally good quality but beware of one thing!!! I stood on the toilet seats to clean on top of our bathroom cabinets and realised that the seat lid had cracked at the hinge. Expensive Mistake!!! This happened on three of the seats, I weigh 160 lbs and would have thought that it would have been ok. Disappointing product
Sold as genuine Rak toilet seat but I'm not so sure there are no brand markings on either the seat or the box it comes in. Short in length so seat doesn't cover the toilet pan. A brilliant product, much, much better than the original RAK600 Soft Close Toilet Seat, supplied when the suite was purchased. Very good quality materials and fixings. Instructions easy to follow and fitting no problem at all - all you need is a tape measure and a screwdriver. Good replacement for the original
This seat is a very good replacement for the original. It is slightly smaller which makes it more comfortable to sit on. The lid fits over the seat making it look very smart. Excellent quality much better than the ine provided when the toilet was first installed. Genuine trademark D shared toilet seat. Great replacement seat for RAK 600 toilet - Highly recommended
We are really pleased with our replacement RAK 600 series soft close toilet seat. It looks good & is comfortable to use . In addition , the fixing mechanism is far better than our original RAK 600 seat as the fixing points go directly into the back of the toilet seat itself , which means that there are less moveable parts. Superb replacement!
I had been looking for some time to find a suitable replacement for my RAK 600 series toilet seat and I admit to being more than a little sceptical about the suitability of something that cost about half of Rak’s list price. I am however absolutely delighted with this seat. It fits perfectly and looks terrific, even better than the original.
