Awesome-give them a try.
These cymbals are great, I wish I`d bought a set years ago it would have saved a lot of ear damage! They really are unbelievably less noisy than conventional cymbals. They do have a different tone, slightly tinny and not as warm a sound but still bright and responsive, the same to hit as a normal cymbal but much, much quieter. No need to put any dampening tape on them so they retain their tone. Good value too, just over £200 for a full 5-piece set. I like the look of them too. They are brilliant for practising, I would recommend that they become the norm in schools and colleges etc.
