Great product, easy to use.
Bought this to make a repair to gore-tex lining of a glove which had s tear in it. By cutting two small patches I was able to cover the tear on both inside and outside. Being self- adhesive, it also holds the old lining in place and makes a smooth, strong repair. The £189.00 spent on the gloves is now saved. Can't we have more patches please!
To be honest, this is a very cynical product. I would recommend that rather than charging so much (the best part of £8) for 2 small fabric patches, it should be sold with 4, 6 or even a dozen patches at an appropriate price to reflect the no-doubt minimal cost of production. I feel like I paid £7.70 for two tiny bits of Gore Tex that cost about 30 pence to produce. Not impressed! Sorry, but flash packaging doesn't wash with me. A regrettable purchase. Good so far
I got two small rips in the back of some new Keela salopettes. It was going to cost a bit to get it properly repaired so I tried this McNETT repair kit. Seems to be good quality material. Fabulous quick repair without anything but good and sharp scissors.
It seems to quickly patch up some marks and a burn that I had on a black Gore Bike Wear coat as well as on another Mammut jacket. Will see for how long it lasts and if it will hopefully survive its first wash. Indeed, the damage has become waterproof again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Cycle jacket repair
Used the large patch to repair a hole in the arm of an expensive cycling jacket made of Gore Windstopper fabric. The patch went on fine and has survived one wash so far. Repair kit is a bit expensive but worthwhile if it proves to be a long lasting repair.

Repair Motorcycle Trousers
I managed to burn a hole in the knee of my 12 month old pair of motorcycle trousers on my exhaust (Don't ask !!). I found these patches by accident. cleaned the rough edges off and although I believe it would have stuck ok on its own. I supplemented the patch with some contact adhesive. the patch blends in very well with the trousers.
