This is a very nice camera. The shots are nice, it's crystal clear pictures. It's easy to operate. And it has 2 free Batteries. But you just have to buy a Memory Card and a USB Cable. Not fit for use as delivered
The camera instructions show to insert the batteries and memory card into the camera. Batteries were included but the memory card had to be separately ordered from the manufacturer. Also, the USB wire needed to transfer photos to the computer was also not provided and also had to be ordered. As delivered, this camera is not fit for use. And the instructions did not even say that the missing items were not supplied with the camera and had to be ordered. A giant mistake.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Small, easy to use and good quallity pictures.
did not think I would get much of a Nikon camera for the money. Pleasantly surprised. Just returned from a trip in the rockies with beautiful pictures. Would be nice if it had a rechargeable battery system.

Very easy to focus.
I previously had an A10 and used it until the lens retraction gears broke. This one has seven years of technology in it. Much better pictures, easier to focus with no blur. It's only a camera, deal with it.

Takes some "Cool Pix" for me !!
Love the camera. Have had two of the Nikon Cool Pix S3300 that have taken beatings and been dropped numbers of times with no damage. After about 5 + years they finally are having problems, and need the SPECIAL, high cost, battery replaced. This new one is almost the same camera as the old ones with the same layout and features etc.... AND now takes two of the AA batteries. Super choice for Nikon to make. A small handy point and shoot that can be a challenge to focus with close shots.
I had the same camera in 2017 but it was broken and I could not save the SD card so I purchased same model. It's images are not as clear as the original camera and I used the same exact manufacturer SD card.
