Excellent Router - Meets all my needs and expectations.
Purchased refurbed from the manufacturer. Maybe I just got lucky, this one was like brand new. Was not looking for some fancy expensive "gaming" router, just a good general purpose modern home router for a resonable price. The Archer A9 does everything I want and does it very well without need for 3rd party firmware. Very intuitive setup, plenty ot advanced settings to tweak, very good performance all the way around. Can't beat the performance for the price
Big improvement over the Spectrum provided POS I was using. Now get full house coverage and no drop offs. Not only was range extended but hard wired connections are also faster. This is very good!!
Before installing the TP-link A9 router the top speed we could get was sometimes 8-10 but mostly 4-5 megabytes. Now we are consistently getting around 22 or more megabytes speed on my iPad and computer. We have centurylink that is supposed to be 25 megabytes so this is a very nice increase.
