Lightweight! Plug and Play!
The Stage 3 I received was in excellent condition. The Royal Grand Piano is awesome. The EP 1 reminds me of when I owned a rhodes 73 suitcase. Like the rhodes, the Stage 3 has separate knobs to adjust the tremolo rate and intensity. On my MODX, Kross and Kronos I had to settle for what I heard. Synths, splits and layering, wow. Easy! The only down part is I purchased the board right at the start of the 2nd wave of Covid-19, so I can't make it pay for itself right away. When the virus becomes manageable I'll put it to work. The Nord stage 3 is an awesome keyboard, with organ, Piano and a Synth engine it covers most of the sounds you need for giggin, You can preprogram your sounds or adjust on the fly. I’ve owned many keyboards over the last 40 plus years and this is my favorite so far. I own the stage 3 compaq, the organ has actual draw bars. The stock I piano sounds are unbelievable samples and the Synth engine is really powerful. This thing weighs in at about 26lbs, how much more could an old guy that used to haul around Rhodes and B3s ask for. Great addition to Nord's keyboard line!
I've gone from a Nord Electro4 to an E5, E6, and now the Stage 3. Not sorry I did. I like the Compact 73 because it has actual drawbars. I'm used to that because I've played Hammonds before in bands. I like the semi-weighted waterfall keys (again, the organ stuff). The pianos, especially the grands, are excellent. I'm not used to doing a lot of synth stuff but the tutorials for this keyboard abound and I'm enjoying learning. I love this keyboard!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Nord Stage 3 Compact look and sound good, I am happy with it.
Best sound in a small package that wont break your back, I wish Nord Stage 3 have 73 weighted keys version instead of 76 because 73 will fit in to most of normal 61 keys case and bag.
