The Nintendo DS Lite Coral Pink features a unique dual-screen clam shell design with top and bottom displays and touch-sensitivity. Game play makes use of the stylus to interact directly with the bottom screen, as well as the d-pad, front and shoulder buttons. This system is two thirds the size of the Nintendo DS, while retaining the same 3-inch screen size, as well as 20 percent lighter. Speakers have also been reduced in size without sacrificing on audio quality. The console features neater closing mechanism, the DS Lite clam shell design snaps shut without overlap. The device also comes with a plastic insert to slip between the screens when closed for dust protection. A button layout introduces some position changes and swaps for more intuitive controls, and the longer, more ergonomic stylus comes sits in a repositioned holder. The microphone has also been moved, to sit neatly between the two screens, and the volume switch, also repositioned, has a chunkier, more user-friendly feel. The two displays provide noticeably sharper, cleaner visuals than ever before, while four brightness settings can tailor game play to variable light levels. It is compatible with all standard Nintendo DS accessories and titles, as well as back-compatible with Game Boy Advance games and set up to play games from any territory. The handheld system also retains its celebrated Wi-Fi online multiplayer capability and robust hardware protection features. Combine with classic games such as Mariokart DS and the Pokemon video game series, or a choice of different games, such as Electroplankton, Trauma Center and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, for hours of fun.Product Identifiers

Love the ability to play GBA games!
Yeah the new 3DS has excellent graphics and the ability to use e-Shop to download games, but if you want a barebones system with the ability to play those retro games that we all know, love, and miss playing then this is the system for you! No there is no 3D feature, so IMO it's perfect for kids because you don't have to worry about them straining their eyes. Anyway, the 3D is overrated on my 3DS (very blurry), and I always have it turned off, but I have less than perfect vision so maybe that's why. This is a perfect starter system for kids just getting into gaming because it plays DS and GBA games so there are lots to choose from, and being older games, they can be bought for very reasonable prices. Honestly, the new 3DS games are, for the most part, reboots/remakes of the older games in an attempt to improve them and keep up with the Joneses. Same games, same outcome, just better graphics. So until you can afford to get that new 3DS-XL for close to two hundred dollars, pick this one up for $20-30 and start stocking up on those DS games; they are upward compatible with the new system! Oh What A Day
The day had a nice color to it but the delivery company delivered to someone else by the time the person decided to return it didn't have a charger nor stylus they just threw it in box lucky I had extras stylus and my Nintendo 2ds charger fit well in it also it was locked with parental controls which the person who sold it didn't know code but once I called Nintendo and they figure the code and I was able to put Internet connection it works good long battery power.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
