Great size and Features
I purchased my first A6000 new in Black at a camera store! I do a lot of photography work and I wound up for quick change and a need for telephoto and short range Photos. With that said, wanted to be able to move and change quickly and this extra A6000 suits the bill. Great size and quite a shopping list of features. Good camera, but the package really needs a body cap to cover the sensor
I received my camera yesterday. When I opened the package, I saw the camera body loosely wrapped in an open soft-foam like sheet, with no body cap on the sensor. When I took the camera out, I could already see couple dusts sticking on the sensor. So the first thing I had to do with this camera was to try to clean the sensor before putting on my lens. I used air blow together with Sony's sensor cleaning, and still couldn't remove some of the dusts. This was very frustrating and unexpected. Although I know the original kit lens was taken off in this package, I wasn't expecting that the sensor was just left exposed like that. One thing for sure is that the first photo I took with this camera definitely had dust shadows on it. Liking this camera a lot, I still seriously suggest adding the body cap to the camera body before selling it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Value
I've been taking photos with a Sony Alpha a3000 for the last four years and wanted to upgrade. The a6000 is just that: faster to work with while shooting, easier to set, even lighter and easier to handle, and the image quality is great, especially in low light, like at sunset. Having two e-mount lenses also made the purchase less expensive since I only needed the camera body. All that, but enough of the same features to let me jump right into using it. I'm looking forward to using and learning more about this camera.
