Good product, but requires good preparation
I bought this glue to repair a pair of favourite shoes where the heals had worn down. If you go to the Stormsure website, you can watch their video. But do NOT follow their instructions! Using brown tape to create a trough to pore the glue in to does not work well because the glue tends to leak through. Use Bluetack to create a trough which results in a much better seal. Also depending on the depth of rubber that you are trying to build up, it can literally take days to set (you could try applying in thinner layers, but i did not try this). Having said all of that, the end result works and will give your older shoes a new lease of life. Also avoid decent shoes ending up in landfill. Good luck!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

ONLY HALF TUBE USABLE, REST SET SOLID.

A very good product which is very good value for money. Made a very good job at repairing our horse's New Zealand Rugs. At Last An Adhesive That Works
Bought this to repair a hiking poncho that had come loose at the seams. The adhesive was easy to apply and ensured a good joint, beware though it does not hold secure / firm any polythene tape that normally affixes over the seam. After leaving 12 hours to set as per the instructions, some of the excess adhesive that squeezed from the seam was "slightly tacky" but this was easily rectified by sprinkling talcum powder on it then rinsing in cold water. Top shelf glue
20 year old ex-police waterproof trousers had lining deterioration. This glue was easy to apply and completely restored the line of seam-waterproofing that had come detached. Stormsure use on EDPM ROOFING
Used this Stormsure on my EDPM Rubber roof to repair a bad joint, wasn’t sure so I tested on two pieces stuck together left 12 hours it worked next i put in fridge for acouple of hours it was sill stuck and flexible, next I put in freezer for approx 3 and half hours took out and bent pulled it it was still flexible and still stuck, so did roof still good with the Sun on all week. Great for repairing worn out shoes and trainers. Also repairing seams on old golf shoes that leak water. Prolong the life of your wellies/thermal boots.
Two pairs of thermal wellies to repair and I was on the verge of spending money on replacements until I came across this product. Followed the YouTube guidance/instructions and the repair is fantastic - worn a number of times since and holding up brilliantly. Both were splits one 75mm long (photo) the other 50mm. Obviously its not the prettiest of repairs - but it is quite inconspicuous and in any case they are functional thermal boots not fashion statements! I opted for the clear colour as one pair green one pair black.
