Sturdy and great value but let down by the paint layer
I bought one of these scaffold towers to help me to replace a slate tile that had fallen off our roof. The tower reached up to our roofline easily and was straightforward and quick to assemble. The materials felt solid when clambering up and down, although the cross-braces did flex a little bit when I put my weight on them as they are a little bit thinner than the rest of the sections. The whole tower can be easily assembled by an individual and the delivery arrived on time as promised. What lets this product down is the paint that has been applied to the steel. A noticeable amount of it had been scraped off during transit and there were even a few spots of rust in places that will need attention in the near future. After being assembled, used for a few hours and disassembled the amount of paint that had been scraped off was much more noticeable and red stains could be seen on the bottom of the boards I used. The paint even came off when i removed the cellotape holding my address label to the metal. Overall I would say this is a great product. It's strong, great value for money, perfect for small DIY jobs and will save you hundreds if not thousands over the years compared with hiring scaffolding from a contractor.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Ideal for the home DIYer for painting or other external property repairs and maintenance. The only downside is to use it safely you do need to purchase/use other items such are adjustable feet if you need to use it on uneven ground and stabiliser strut legs. Very impressed
I was a bit sceptical about how good this tower would be, however I couldn’t have been more wrong. Not only did it turn up within a couple of days, it’s excellent quality and easy to assemble by yourself. I didn’t order any adjustable feet or wheels, but I’m going to order another tower and get adjustable wheels for both. Very happy!

Steel Scaffolding Tower
Quickly delivered on a pallet each section light enough to easily assemble. Added locking wheels to the tower so could move along a wall with out any disassembling. Well made welded steel and bolts at every join it is something a DIY decorator or builder can use repeatedly and is more safer than leaning off a ladder to replace guttering or paint fascia boards and similar jobs.
