This can crusher comes with the best type and number of screws to fix it, securely, to the wall. The main body is a high gauge, heavy duty steel. A few trial crushes and you find the best/easy way to use this BRILLIANT device; I recommend pushing the loaded can, lightly, in the middle making the force to crush it minimal. It crushes the cans with very little effort but the handle doesn’t stay up when not in use, we put a little piece of cardboard through the handle and the unit to stop the handle from falling down and sticking out from the middle.

Hoping this will reduce my recycling bin and I can get more in it.

Handle broke after 1 weeks use.
The handle was broken within a week of putting this device on the wall. As you only ever get what you pay for and rather than mess around with return postage etc I simply removed the old handle and inserted a long nut and bolt and it now works as it should. The handle is clearly not up to the task, as others have pointed out.

Works well, but the can keeps slipping out the crusher when you bring the handle down to crush the can. Needs to have a rim or rubber base the hold the can firm in the crusher
