This is a real enthusiast camera in compact form. It has all the manual settings as well as program settings like an SLR. It may prove to be a bit heavy for some,but that is an indication of it’s quality build. The Mai body is aluminium so should stand up to the odd bump. 1st and 2nd time lucky
I bought this camera because I had already owned one previously. After about six years of fairly extensive use it finally packed up and the repair estimate was quite horrific. I always liked it and another reason for the purchase of another one was that I already had a nice case (bought in Hong Kong) and two lens attachments. None of these would fit any other camera. However I must state that I have always found the previous camera to be very versatile, of extremely good quality and very reliable - until its final 'gasp for breath'.
