Fuel tap
This is a great addition to a set of Mikuini carbs. As the RS34’s don’t need a vacuum operated fuel tap and also need a better fuel flow. As the part of the tap that sits inside the tank can be bigger that the opening hole it’s needs to e opened out slightly. As did my KawasakiGpz750 & also needed a adapter. The quality is excellent for the tap and adapter. There are two down sides one is the price of over £200 for tap and adapter and the second is a design issue. The ON/OFF/RES lever does not have a notched/indent action on the fuel lever to give a positive feel. I would have expected this from such a expensive item in comparison to a standard fuel tap that does have a positive action. Saying all that it is a quality item and the only one out there that ones the job.

Beautiful piece ok kit, but…
It’s a lovely piece of precision engineering. However, I did need to drill my tank to let the inlet gauze fit and it proved impossible to get the tap lined up at 90 degrees which would have been perfect.
