sony mini disc
It sounds and works OK, price was almost 2X what I paid for when a new one before mini-disc player/ recorders were discontinued by Sony. Since. I have a lot music on mini-disc that I would like to save that was recorded on the same type player/recorder, it took a while before I could find a machine that met my needs. It's a very small unit that must be carefully worked with.. I have not tried to see how compatible it is with my computer as far as down loading . Newest portable NetMD recorder with fewest limitations on moving music around
Not as bass-heavy as the older MD players and recorders, but plays reliably, uses USB for charging, unfortunately insanely expensive Lithium stick battery, but overall very well built and works great. It's also the only MD model that allows moving things in and out (well, mostly) via SonicStage, and latest model to be produced by Sony. The best Minidisc recorder out there
This is the best Minidisc recorder ever made. It has sound quality beyond what any MP3 player is capable of. It's not all that "easy" to use (if you're used to today's Ipods, etc.) but it's not really supposed to be. After all, it's a Sony.
