Handy addition
Hard to believe Dyson are going to cease production of corded vacuums, this is a handy addition can clean the car, stairs and quick to respond to a few missed dog hairs or dropped bread crumbs. It could not and would not replace my upright dc14 as I have two jack Russel terriers and the associated mess that goes with them. That said it performs the task I bought it for, later models have improved the battery life and other flaws found on this model. Just the Job!
I bought this lightweight vac with a wand (extension tube) which makes it very useful for whizzing round the house picking up bits on the floor without having to bend over. It's also light enough for my wife to use! So far we have not needed to put it into the Max mode. This is our second Dyson Animal. Our first eventually died of old age. Getting a replacement was not an option. I'd almost go without food to save for one. Vacuuming the stairs is almost a pleasure it's so easy and fast, as is picking up those fluff fragments behind the bed or on the sofa all equally as quick and easy.
