This is a good read and interesting if you're a big Hendrix fan. Kathy comes across as a very credible eyewitness. She's down-to-earth and sensible, and was one of the people close to Jimi who actually had his best interests in mind. She started out rough in life but grew to be a woman of strength. She didn't need Jimi's fame to make her life meaningful and doesn't come across as craving notoriety. I enjoyed getting to know her and appreciated the window into Jimi's early british days she provides in this book..
One thing about this book to note: copies of this book aren't in plentiful supply. Hence, they don't sell cheap. You won't be disappointed in the book if you judge it for what it was intended to be from the start. The "collector's price" many of these copies are fetching is not the fault of the author!
