Good value, good price
Have only had it for less than 2 weeks and takes a bit to get used to using it. Went through about 2 test strips each time we read it at first but is getting easier. Much better than testing chlorine and ph with the yellow and red dyes.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not accurate or consistent
The chlorine readings seemed to be accurate with pool service testing. The alkaline readings were off & the PH readings were not consistent. I tried to apply the test strip in the unit several different ways, always out of bright light, dipped when told to dip & tried holding the strip in the unit different ways. The strips are also a bit expensive & the manual recommends a couple of readings a week. I wanted this tester to help me get better/more accurate reading than matching the colors on the other dip type strips. It was easy to use, I just did not get the accurate/consistent readings I was looking for. I'll just have to go back to guessing the color & going to my pool place for testing.
