Das Nikon Nikkor AF-S 17-55 mm F/2.8 SWM AF-S DX IF-ED G, ist ein leistungsstarkes Objektiv, welches zunächst für all APS-C Sensor-Typen geeignet ist und außerdem einen Brennweitenbereich von 17 - 55 mm abdeckt. Die Fokussierung kann sowohl automatisch, als auch manuell bedient werden. Des Weiteren verfügt das Objektiv über eine Naheinstellgrenze von 36 cm. Das hochwertige Objektiv entfaltet seine Stärke besonders in der Landschaft- und Innenraumfotografie. In der Abmessung ergibt das Gerät eine Länge von 111 mm, sowie einen Durchmesser von 85,5 mm und verfügt über ein Gewicht von 755g.

Good lens for the street price
Depending on your use of this lens, you might be better off sticking with the 18-55 kit; lighter and just as sharp with Vibration Reduction. Go for this lens if you require professional durability and resistance, don't mind the heavy weight, and need faster focusing speeds.
