Nikon D1, the first functional DSLR
The first pure-bred Nikon DSLR. Prior to the D1, the only digital Nikons were the half Nikon, half Kodak Frankencameras of the 90's. While the D1 is about a basic as a DSLR gets, it can still produce high quality images. The only real drawbacks being it only saves images in the NTSC color space, and the NiMH battery doesn't hold a charge very long, even when new. Thankfully, there is a company, by the name of Watson, that makes a copy of the EN-4 battery, for the D1 series. I've used them, and they work well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
