2016 Holiday Barbie AA
This doll is beautiful. The first few reviews I read commented that her skin tone was light for an African American doll. She does have a light skin tone, so she could be almost any ethnicity, mixed race, etc. and I like that she is diverse looking. In some of the reviews I read, people complained that the other holiday Barbies were smiling, and this one wasn't. I like the head sculpts with the smiles, but this doll's expression is very model like, and she's just gorgeous in person. I would love it if she was articulated, but most people leave their holiday Barbies in the box so that's not an issue for collectors who wish to display the doll only. I will eventually buy a Made to Move doll and swap heads. Because of the damaged box, I got this doll at a great price. Since I intended to remove her, it wasn't an issue for me. Some reviewers were unhappy with the plastic bodice on the gown, but if you remove it, the gown underneath is all fabric, and fully functional on its own. It is a beautiful ombre' blue.

Not worth it.
