Both the sleeve and the screw has a pozi head. Useful back to back fixing bolts for use on on door handles and other ironmongery where a very strong fixing to the door is required. These male/female bolts have an M4 thread and have an overall 60mm fixing capacity.

    Good Fixing for Door Handles

    Very easy to install as long as you know your latch has the facility for through bolts, it needs an elongated hole and a short hole at the end of the latch. Cut off excess screw length using heavy pliers, not necessary but clean off thread with a file. Great fitting stops the dreaded wobbly handle.

    They not coming off now!

    For anyone tired of fitting door handles with the normal supplied screws that comes in the pack. These effectively connect the door handles either side of the door to each other. This pack contains oversize ( in length) M4 (other sizes available) male bolts with female sleeves. There are various sections that can be cut (with wire cutters or similar) to suit the door thickness. Ideal for doors with thin veneer’s or likely to experience excessive use. Easy to fit with careful marking out. You know the handles are staying put now. I’ve used brass and nickel finish to suit the door furniture. Not expensive for peace of mind and those with “fit and forget” attitude!

    An easy fix to hollow doors with loose handles

    A good way to fix and problem with hollow doors. The main thing to remember when cutting the screws to correct length is be very careful with the treads. Very happy with this product
