Sleek, Compact Electric Cooktop
Sleek, compact electric cooktop for my new kitchen. Generally I prefer electric, but decided to bring my 1930 Kalamazoo wood/gas cookstove to my new home, and planned to use the gas burners. This is intended to supplement the cookstove. This unit will actually replace the first one I purchased, which worked upon installation, but before I even moved in had an issue that the company would not rectify - possibly a mother-board for the controls. In retrospect, I probably should have purchased a model with knobs vs. electric touch pad, but with care it should last. The white glass blends in with my countertop well, and the surface should be easy to keep clean. Just have to be careful about not allowing items to rest on the control panel; it can be locked to avoid little fingers from accidentally activating the burners.
