5 very nicely colored MDs in a compact carry-on case
Excellent set of 80-minute MiniDiscs in 5 different colors in a lightweight and very compact carry box. I ended up choosing this set instead of the older 75-minute sets more commonly available, not only for the additional capacity of each MD, but also because the carry box is much smaller and lighter (although flimsier) than the one included with those other older 75-min sets, likely made from a thicker polycarbonate. One pleasing surprise was finding out the 5 MDs are actually of different colors, since it's hard to tell from typical eBay pictures, as I had thought perhaps the Blue-colored MD would be repeated, but it turns out one's Violet and one's Blue, so 5 different translucent colors in total (Blue, Violet, Red, Orange & Black). One additionally nice detail is that the metallic tab that covers the inner MD media is actually painted in the same color as the MD translucent case on all 5 colors, instead of the raw & bright metal used on the older 75-minute MDs.
