This small controller is portable and highly functional
I have had several M-Audio products over the years and they've all been reliable and long-lasting. I primarily picked up the 25-key Oxygen 8 to controller synths via the 5-in MIDI interface rather than via USB on a PC. Midiman oxygen 8 controller
It does what I need it to do and undoubtedly much more because all I require from it is to trigger a midi module to use it as a dedicated bass and it does that perfectly. It's used, half the note don't have smooth action, missing power supply!!

Legacy MIDI controller sees new life
The Midiman Oxygen 8 went out of style in the early 2000s. But the unit can operate as a standalone MIDI controller and has a compact design that is what I wanted. I use it as a source of MIDI signals. This unit was received clean and in working order with only minor cosmetic scars. As a performance instrument it has been replaced.
