Great lens - potential focus issues!
When it works properly this is a fantastic lens with great image quality, however I'm still trying to work out if there is an autofocus issue on my D7100 (there definitely is on my D7000). This is not unexpected and is a documented issue (focus seems to fall behind the subject on occasions).

Better glass in my opinion to the newer variants despite the lack of VR - this lens has all the qualities of the 300 f2.8 AFS but it is stunning - this is my second one, the first being stolen - I am so delighted to gain another
