Seems like it says all it does - thank God haven't HAD to use it as its for "emergencies!"

Nice radio
operates good but need more battery power as it goes dead and must crank way too much.Fully charged radio plays approx 5 hours then is dead and if you crank for 4 minutes will play approx 15 minutes.Solar charging requires full sun all day and radio plays only a very short time as battery still not charged.I do like this unit but would like improvements to power.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Amazing performance in a small package

This radio is of excellent quality for sound function, and reception. It came with all the accessories. AC plug, earphones, USB cable, and even a clip on antenna extension built onto a retracting reel. A great buy from this seller. unsophisticated but easy to use
The sound quality is not as good as a more expensive model (e.g. my Tecsun PL-660), but in my opinion the FM sound quality is better than DAB - which I find to be clear but dull. What it's missing is loads of memories, technical signal enhancers such as bandwidth limiting, ssb, external aerial etc. For most people these will be unnecessary complications, particularly for preppers and other people on the move.
