good phone for call & text
its a good phone for someone that wants a simple phone.. i had to get used to the flip-open feature, i like it now, but at first it was a bit complicated because i thought the keypad should be turned the other way according to the side it flips open and i always had to flip it around... the battery doesn't last as long as my last phone which was the Verizon Brightside, and the screen is bigger on that phone.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Cheap but break.
I just re bought this same exact phone, when the screen stopped working on my old one, because its a dirt cheap phone with nice qualities like a decent size keyboard. It is very great for texting. The full QWERTY Keyboard is really great for composing long emails too.

Great basic phone with a keyboard that my fingers can use.
This phone is quite nice for a basic phone. Lots of neat options and features. Seems well built The touch screen interaction for scrolling through photos, text messages, contacts, etc is a nice option. Call clarity is quite good. Speakers for music are surprisingly clear and loud for their size. I don't have a data plan for this phone so I can't speak to the internet/vcast/vz navigator features. Overall, I am happy with the phone. A few negatives I have found are the camera's flash option. It doesn't do a good job gauging the light so it will flash too much or when its not needed, resulting in a completely washed out/white picture. Another negative is the accuracy of the touch screen. Even after calibrating it multiple times it has issues selecting what I want. It will either move the application I'm trying to open or it won't select it at all. Another minor negative is about the drawing pad/write by screen. This phone allows you to use the screen to write and spell out words in a text as an alternative to using the keyboards. I can not get it to work properly as the accuracy of the touch screen is very jittery, so what I write doesn't come out as intended. This same issue is prevalent in the drawing pad application, where something as simple as a smiley face won't look right. Overall, its a good basic phone as an alternative to a smart phone if your not looking to go to a data plan/smartphone.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

I really like the phone but for the battery life I have to charge it every day, while with my other LG Octane phone I could go a full 2 to 3 days without charging it depending on how much I used it. Good replacement for identical phone
Bought this LG EnV Touch VX11000 to replace a stolen phone. Each member of our family uses the same phone. Easy to operate, fairly reliable, and we have it set with data blocked, since it is not really useful for any data purpose, and we don't want that feature anyway. Easy to text with the tactile keyboard, which is the biggest selling point for our family. Touch screen on front is adequate for our limited non-data usage. A little small for games, but there is Tetris sample preloaded. This is a 3g phone; there seems to be less bandwidth in our rural area for 3g these days, because we seem to have a little worse reception than our smartphone friends on the same Verizon network. An annoyance at times, but the phones are still pretty reliable. We typically pair via Bluetooth to a wireless speaker in the car. Each phone has paired well, and holds it's pairing most of the time. Occasionally, the phone needs to be powered down momentarily, in order to maintain a connection, or to improve reception. This happens maybe once per month, with fairly heavy use. Camera and microphone are adequate, but barely. No fine photos will ever be produced by these phones. Certainly not capable of reproducing a page of text, but enough to remember the title of an article or book, and to identify a smiling face or a pretty flower. Battery life is fair for these phones in general. This particular phone seems to have a good battery life as a used phone.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Originally, I chose this phone with the cool side speakers for enjoying portable music. Back then you could purchase songs to your phone thru Rhapsody. It's on the cusp of Smart Phones.
