Great format, great camcorder.
A bit like Betamax video and Minidisc, Digital 8 was a short-lived but excellent Sony recording format. This, and other cameras in the Digital8 range, provided superior audio and visual recording quality compared to previous domestic camcorder formats. Having worked with a range of home and semi-pro formats across the years, Digital8 remains my favourite as it has a look and quality of its own.
