This hand-held and ultra-mobile P2 HD camera features full 4:2:2 independent frame production and quality HD and solid-state recording. When you have a lot of background distractions, this camera's enhanced sensor will give you lower noise levels while it increases the camera's ability to shoot quality video in low-light situations. The HPX170 camcorder does not include a tape drive, but makes up for that by being more lightweight and durable. The HPX170 comes with a 75mm lens with improved wide-angle capability. It has a vector scope, a waveform monitor, an HD-SDI output, a six-pin locking firewire port, and three focus-assist modes.
