      Dodgy seller . 3 issues with this order. I paid for a 3014 HEAT DETECTOR. I got an optical detector with replace date of 2032. The box it comes in says replace by 2035. Very fishy

      Agood spec Carbon Monoxide and fire alarm.

      This is a top quality make and great quality product, easy retro fit to existing mains wiring when replacing existing faulty or out of date Carbon Monoxide detectors with added bonus of fire alarm built in. Other useful features built-in so check the manufacturers spec for these.

      Nice alarm - shame about the limited space for wiring.

      Good that it has a lifetime rechargeable battery and can be interlinked with other alarms from the same manufacturer. We previously had a life-expired CO alarm from Aico in a smaller square format. I realise they've now gone for the same plug-in base as their smoke and heat alarms, but was disappointed that the space for wiring was much smaller than in our previous installation. It was a real fiddle trying to squeeze 2 x 1.5mm2 3 + Earth into the space provided.

      Very good value at the price I paid.

      Appears to be well designed and engineered and is made in UK/EU.The Aico 's are mains powered with sealed for life lithium battery back-up for 10-yrs and can be interlinked into a system.I bought three to replace the 'chinese' sourced mains CO detectors which failed after only 3-yrs despite replacing the ni-cad battery twice.

      Neat mains-wired CO arm

      I have this mounted next to my gas boiler plugged into a socket, replacing a 10 year old Ei rectangular unit that had time-expired. It is reasonably easy to wire up. The battery in it is a good safeguard against power cuts. At the price I paid (£38), it is good value. My experience with the other Ei alarms in my house (smoke/heat) is that they are reliable and do respond.

      Aico co detector

      I have not installed this product yet so i cannot comment on its functionality yet. This product did arrive a day earlier than its projected delivery date and was exactly as described. Compared with another number of suppliers it is well and competitively priced. I have a number of other aico products already in use and they work well so i have no reason to believe this will be any different. it appears to be good quality.
