    This Icom IC-7300 was an expensive purchase ($825 plus tax) but very very worth it. The seller is in Japan and very trustworthy. Communication was second to none. Shipping was very fast and packaging was done with care. The Radio is exactly as described as it is brand new in an unopened box. It's worth noting that the instruction manual is ALL written in Japanese and the radio is set up for Japanese laws. If you want the radio to have unlimited text and receive you have to remove a small diode.

    It doesn't work.

    It doesn't work perfectly. It doesn't work at all. The small plastic bag that it came in has the words 'not running' written on it.
