Solid Construction
A solid, well built unit, with well protected blades. Accurate...I checked it against the AWOS system at an airport, (the very accurate, Automated Weather Observation System that pilots depend on for flight safety). The peak hod feature was most helpful too. I liked the use of AAA batteries instead of Li Ion button batteries. The included carrying case is okay for scratch resistance, but if you plan on lot's of use then have a well padded case made at an upholstery shop...I did, or use one of your wife's old clutch purses! Great moderately priced Digital Anemometer
I know little about digital anemometers but I needed to measure the air velocity of floor fans so this unit was moderately priced for the features it had. It does all I need it to with several different air velocity scales & is able to hold the reading for min or max for a scale; it is backlighted at the press of a button & goes off in a short time.

A good way to check wind speed and temp.
Took the unit out to check wind speeds on some land I was looking to buy. It worked great and I was able to find out if wind turbines would work in that area.
