    Lightweight and top fixiing feature

    It is bright white and fixes from the top which is great. Not as soft closing as I'd like but still good for its price. Ideal if loo in an awkward corner and you can't get to the underneath of it to fix standard seats in place.

    Soft-close function failed after a month of light use

    The soft-close function failed after a month of light use. Grease/oil seems to have leaked from both hinges. I've just replaced the seat with a different model as a result.

    Good Value

    Paper instructions would have been helpful, the fittings are good although difficult to fasten tightly as I needed the seat to be as far back as it would go, which meant that once you slid the seat onto the fitting you could no longer get at the screw to tighten, but you can easily remove the seat for cleaning and re-tightening. Nice seat and looks good, I would buy it again.

    Hinges

    Good quality seat and easy to install. The problem is that the hinges are opened from inside and the liquid can get in with no access to clean it out. Terrible design. See the pictures attached.
