      Excellent easy to use light weight but strong clamps.

      Love these clamps, they are light yet strong and easy to use, even better the tightening turn bar fitting is solid unlike many, so you don't end up searching round the floor looking for the rubber cap that stops the bar falling out. actual usable clamping width is about 33".

      Good for price.

      This is a good product for the price. However if you do a few extras on them you can make them really strong. I inserted timber into the h section. I also inserted a stop at the end, two reasons 1 it stops the adjuster falling off & also locks the timber insert in place. The grub screw that holds the tightener/screw in place is very poor so I will be drilling & tapping 5 mill machine screws in place which will make the product last a lot longer. Also a bit of double sided tape & a bit of thin ply stuck to the jaws will save damage to the project being clamped. These few extras by the manufacturer would justify a higher cost. Wonder who their designer is.

      so far so good

      I'm always weary about buying anything made by Silverline products as I've had stuff in the past that have broke or fallen apart on me,some on the first use!! but these work just fine,ive used them many many times,in fact Ive also got 4 of the the 600mm clamps and only yesterday i ordered 2 more of the 900mm clamps for a big job im working on.
