    Quality and Value

    Took a few minutes to figure out the set-up and get it on the headrests. It is not easy to get the disc in but once we got it in place and going it worked out pretty well. The speakers are really good and the sound was much better than I expected which was a plus. The quality of the picture was also good. Our vacation drive was much more enjoyable because my child was able to watch some videos in place of asking, "Are we there yet?"

    Wasted money

    Bought these players almost a year ago. They have only been used 1-2 times per week for approximately 30 minutes each time. One unit will not play a DVD or when it decides to work it makes an awful clicking noise. Not only that a ribbon cable? Inside of it comes out and wraps around the dvd. I would recommend spending time researching player brands well before buying. I have currently ordered another brand from Amazon.

    Not as nice and easy to connect than I was expecting.

    The product is fine. Both monitors are identical and connecting the two to work as one is a struggle. Still does not provide me the option to sync the two. Plus, the monitors have the connections on the same side...they should be opposite sides so the connector between the two and the vehicle is not being pulled across the one on the left. Besides those two things the monitor clarity is really good.

    Great for a long car ride

    I was wery happy with my purchase. This Insignia dual-screen portable vehicle DVD player was exactly what my family needed for a 16-hour drive. It kept our kids happy (for the most part), which meant some sanity for Mom and Dad. Pretty good picture, and I like that we could have independent or mirrored viewing--both screens are fully usable as individual DVD players. There were no instructions in the box, so it took a little bit of experimenting to get it to operate correctly. Overall, it was not too difficult, and the lack of instructions is not a deal-breaker since I bought the product refurbished. Again, I'm glad we spent the money on this product.

    Be prepared to buy more

    I bought these for the kids for a road trip but I had to end up buying longer power cord and aux cord to make it work in our vehicle. Remotes don't work very well and one DVD player had a bunch of scratches around the bezel.
