I was hesitant to unwrap the clock because of the damage to the packaging. I contacted the seller and s/he told me to unwrap the clock. The Seth Thomas Sharon is a gentle clock., it was more exquisite than described. The ticking sound is soothing and the chime is subtle.The shipping in the end was great and the price was fair. They had it listed as uranium glass, but didn’t have any pics of the glass under a UV light or next to a Geiger counter. It is indeed UG.
